About the Role
We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team at GameCloud Technologies Private Limited. This role involves designing and developing multiple websites from scratch, ensuring high performance and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality for WordPress websites.
- Establishing and guiding the website architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability.
- Managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Working closely with our team to ensure a coherent integration of the CMS with other technologies.
- Optimizing websites for maximum speed and scalability.
- Providing technical support and addressing any issues related to WordPress.
- Ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience with website optimization tools.
- A strong portfolio of work demonstrating proficiency in WordPress development.
